Christmas is just around the corner.
As a then-aspiring accredited food photographer last winter, I embarked on the journey of trying to figure out 1) how to make regular macarons, and 2) how to make vegan/plant based macarons. Oh---and they had to look photo-worthy.
Plant-based meringue which is needed to make plant-based macarons is evidence that someone was thinking creatively. I have been able to achieve proper egg-based macarons, but I need to tweak my plant-based recipe a bit more before I feel I can share it.
Perfecting a plant-based macaron will be a this Christmas/winter project.
