Payton and Steve were a fun couple who decided to do my favorite wedding-day schedule...which is to photograph the formal part of the day on a separate day! In this case, we met two days before the wedding for sunset in Waterton. I photographed them the first time Steve saw Payton in her wedding dress (one of my favorite moments). We continued photographing in Waterton until it was nearly dark. Two days later, they got married and since we didn't have to take time for the formal images on their day, they were free for the reception once we were finished with the marriage venue and family images. Easy peasy! Here are a few images we captured in Waterton.
(I don't want to get all techie - but the gear-head in me wants to give a shout-out to using two flashes in the scene where it doesn't appear like there's two flashes = success! For the image of the reflection, I was standing next to some floating ice IN the glacier-cold lake to get the shot and it was TOTALLY worth it!)
